Wet Flies

Superfly offers many proven wet fly patterns. These flies appeal to many fish species and are often season-long, go-to flies. They can trigger aggressive responses or appeal as prey, and they work on both lakes and rivers.

Example: Royal Coachman

WHO: Trout, panfish, whitefish, grayling, salmon, steelhead.

WHAT: Muted colors suggest natural prey, while bright flies trigger an aggressive or territorial response.

WHERE: Fished throughout the water column of lakes or rivers.

WHEN: Anytime.

HOW: Use a sinking line, sink tip or floating line swung across a current, or cast and retrieved.

TIP: Wet flies can also be trolled.
